iPythonMiao
iPythonMiao Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 24, 2026
iPythonMiao (the “App”) helps users connect from an iPhone or iPad to auto-coder.chat or a compatible service configured by the user. This policy explains how the App handles information.
1. Information the App handles
To provide project, conversation, cloud Agent, and file-preview features, the App may handle:
- The service address;
- The email address of an auto-coder.chat account;
- Task prompts and conversation content entered by the user;
- Identifiers and content related to projects, conversations, runs, and file previews;
- An API Key supplied by the user or created after sign-in.
2. Account passwords and API Keys
When a user signs in with an email address and password, the password is used only for that sign-in request to the configured service. The App does not save the account password to disk.
After a successful sign-in, the service may create a dedicated API Key named iPythonMiao. The App stores that API Key in the iOS Keychain for subsequent authenticated requests. A user may also provide an API Key directly.
Users can remove locally stored credentials from the App's connection settings.
3. How information is used
The App uses the information above only to:
- Authenticate the user and connect to the selected service;
- Load projects, conversations, run results, and file previews;
- Send cloud Agent tasks explicitly submitted by the user;
- Maintain sign-in state and local connection settings;
- Protect service security, troubleshoot issues, and prevent abuse.
4. Information transfer and sharing
The App sends information required to fulfill a user's request to the service address configured by that user. The default service address is https://auto-coder.chat. If a user selects another compatible service, that service's operator handles data under its own privacy policy.
The App contains no third-party advertising SDK, does not sell personal information, and does not use information to track users across apps or websites.
5. Data retention and deletion
On the device, the App stores only connection settings and an API Key in the iOS Keychain. Users can delete this local data with the Clear Local Credentials action.
The operator of the selected service controls retention and deletion of server-side data such as accounts, projects, conversations, and run results. Users of the default auto-coder.chat service can request access, correction, or deletion through the support email below.
6. Data security
The App uses the system HTTPS networking stack and iOS Keychain. No internet transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security, but reasonable measures are used to protect information.
7. Children's privacy
The App is intended for users of developer tools. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect children's personal information for that purpose.
8. Policy updates
This policy may change as the product, services, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page.
